Trip to Mumbai- Lonavala by Seth Anandram Jaipuria School

On 2nd October, all the students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Lucknow set off for their trip to Mumbai. On 6th October, we went to Narayani Dham. It was the 5th day of our trip. The temple was huge, white in color and the deities were simply beautiful that one could not take his eyes off from them. The weather of Lonavala was such that one could wish for to wake up to every morning. When one sits in the central hall of the temple, it feels like a completely different world. The temple is surrounded with mountains and when it rains it feels like heaven on the earth, a treat for eyes. I sat in the central hall, prayed and took prasad. As I was exiting of the temple, I saw three senior citizens sitting in the small park next to the temple. At first I was a little hesitant but then I approached them and asked them where they were from. They were a little surprised and replied that they came from Surat to visit this temple. They even asked me about my visit and I told them about our school trip.

They were happy to see school kids visiting such a beautiful temple at this age. They told me that it is very necessary to keep on exploring no matter which age group one belongs to. The lady who looked just like my grandmother told me that it’s very rare that someone comes to talks to us and spend time with people of our age but a complete stranger like me did, which really made them happy. For me, these words were one of the best compliments I’ve ever received. Unfortunately our meeting was cut short I was getting late, I touched their feet and they blessed me a very successful career and a wonderful life. Really, this was the destined meet! It added to my memories of the Mumbai trip and will always keep me connected to it.
