Accomplished Career Counselor with a Varied Background
Ms.Nishi is a highly skilled and certified career counselor, boasting nearly 18 years of experience within the education sector. Her proficiency extends to leadership and managerial roles, team coaching and mentoring, and providing invaluable guidance to students.
Currently positioned as a Career Counselor at Seth A.R. Jaipuria School in Lucknow, Ms. Nishi delivers comprehensive counseling services to students in grades 9 to 12. Her responsibilities encompass aiding them in profile building, stream selection, course choices, and campus selection. Nishi also navigates students through the application process for overseas universities. Beyond counseling, her contributions include conducting assemblies, stepping in for classes, and orchestrating career fairs, events, and webinars.
In her prior role as Head of Outreach at ICS in Lucknow, Nishi spearheaded successful outreach and business development endeavors. She cultivated robust relationships with school leaders and championed student counseling programs through diverse promotional activities.
As Branch Manager at Scholastic India Pvt Ltd., Ms. Nishi managed sales and marketing activities in the Northern Territory, overseeing a team of over 20 professionals. Ms. Poonam Kochitty, Principal
A calm and efficient administrator, Ms. Poonam Kochitty, has a pleasing personality and a cheerful disposition. Endowed with enormous vision and foresight, she has taken the school to new heights and pedestal. She analyses all issues holistically and futuristically from students’ and teachers’ perspectives.
Ms. Poonam Kochitty has a Masters in Psychology and a B.Ed to her credit with over 40 years of experience in the field of education. She has served as a Founder Principal in some of the most prestigious schools of Lucknow namely City Montessori School(1981-97), St. Mary’s High School(1998-2001), Lucknow Public School Sahara States(2002-2005), Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial Public School(2005-2014) and Seth Anandram Jaipuria School(2015-present).
Ms Kochitty is a product of St Mary’s Convent Lucknow, Loreto Convent Lucknow, and was a topper in her college at the graduate level. She was also a UP State merit holder at both graduate and post-graduate levels.
Ms. Poonam Kochitty is not only a charismatic Principal but wears many hats which reveals her true mettle. She is a teacher trainer under the prestigious STTAR academy. In the last few years, she has been working as a CBSE-certified trainer and has conducted training in various schools. Her forte is conducting workshop on Life Skills and Value Education. She has conducted workshops on Health and Wellness and Gender Sensitivity.
She has steered Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, to be the only Microsoft Showcase school in Lucknow, with 35+ Microsoft Innovative Educators, handling the latest MS Tools and making learning a fun experience. The latest feather in the cap is that of encouraging student educators who are helping teachers gain expertise in Adobe.
