Little kids are masters of the moment—they love the way it feels when they smear paint on paper, how it looks when they sprinkle glitter, and even the soft sound a brush makes as it crosses the page, says Amy Yang, founder of Brooklyn Design Lab, an art school for children.

Fostering creativity doesn’t just increase a child’s chances of becoming the next Picasso. It also helps him developmentally, socially, and emotionally. Creating art may boost young children’s ability to analyze and problem-solve.

GEMA International Painting Competition for students from Kindergarten to grade 8, was recently organized. Students from many schools across the world participated. A  total of 15 countries, 148 Schools, and 2649 students.

In Group B the theme was: Underwater World (Sea Animals/Creatures/Plants) (Grade/Class 1st & 2nd)

Gargi Garg, of class 2 won the third position in the above category. We are proud of her.
