Lucknow recently witnessed a beautiful amalgamation of classical and folk dance forms at the Chaiti festival held at Ramleema ground Aisabagh, organized by the Tourist Department of India. On April 13th, 2024, students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School took center stage, showcasing their immense talent in classical and Indian folk dance forms.

The Chaiti festival, celebrated annually, is dedicated to promoting classical dance forms alongside traditional Indian folk dances. This year’s event was no different, featuring mesmerizing performances by students who had been diligently preparing for this showcase.

The event kicked off with captivating classical group dance performances by the students. Avni Karve, Devishi Yadav, Vaishnavi Thakur, Jhanvi Gupta, Akshara Tewari, Anupama, Parkamya Sharma, Jhanvi Maurya, Vanshika Yadav, and Shanvi Gupta, representing various classes, displayed their mastery of Bharatanatyam and Kathak. With intricate footwork, expressive mudras, and captivating storytelling, these performances left the audience spellbound.

The dedication and hard work of the students were evident in the flawless execution of each dance. Their performances not only showcased their talent but also highlighted the rich cultural heritage of India. As a token of appreciation for their outstanding performances, each student was facilitated with a memento and a certificate.
