On March 19, 2024, the exemplary artists of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow hosted an enlightening Art Exhibition titled “Ramotsav,” dedicated to showcasing various sections of the holy scripture Ramayana and offering historical and symbolic interpretations of the sacred city of Ayodhya. The event was inaugurated and graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Rajendra Prasad, Ex Dean of the Fine Arts Department, DSMNRU, Lucknow.

The exhibition portrayed a holistic exposition of the epic Ramayana, with sections meticulously curated to depict key events, characters, and teachings from the scripture. Through paintings and murals, students brought to life the rich narrative of Ramayana, capturing its essence and significance. The aim of the exhibition was to showcase the artistic skills of the skilled Jaipurian Artists as well as the key moments in Lord Ram’s life Students delved into the historical and symbolic aspects of Ram Darbar and Ajodhya, presenting its architectural marvels, cultural heritage, and spiritual significance. Through their artwork, visitors gained a deeper understanding of Lord Ram as a guidebook of a character, Ajodhya’s place in mythology and its enduring relevance in contemporary society.

The exhibition served as a platform for cultural exchange and spiritual reflection, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the timeless wisdom and beauty of Ramayana. It fostered a sense of reverence for the epic and its teachings, while also celebrating the artistic talents of our students. The artwork underscored the importance of preserving and sharing our cultural heritage while embracing diversity and inclusivity.

The Artwork of the Primary students was also a treat to the eyes, a lot of it themed around Egyptian Art, life and architecture. The displays exhibited were art work done by the students round the year The exhibition awaits an even greater spectatorship as it heads towards its culmination on March 20, 2024.
