Little Warrior Program
‘The little Warrior’ program is an initiative by Seth Anandram Jaipuria Lucknow, to train Taekwondo skills to the children of age group 3 yrs to 8 yrs.
This program is created to develop 8 specific areas that will help the children to become a better Taekwondo practitioners and an individual. The skills that will be mainly focused upon during this program are balance, teamwork, fitness, stranger awareness, discipline, focus, concentration, and coordination. ‘Little Warrior’ aims to provide high-quality Taekwondo training and identify the talent for the school sub-junior Taekwondo team for upcoming competitions.
The children will be awarded Taekwondo Belts once they meet the necessary standards and pass the belt grading exam. They will also be assessed on all areas of development through special skills and drills in the belt grading test. Passing the test will qualify them for colour belt certificates.
The skills they have learnt since its inception are BASIC STANCES, PUNCH STANCE, KICKING STANCE, HEAD BLOCK (DEFENSE), SINGLE AND DOUBLE PUNCH, FRONT KICKROUND and HOUSE KICK.
These children will be representing the school in interschool events and competitions too.
