Inter Class English Elocution Report

“Admiration comes easy to a person who is endowed with the fine art of public speaking, who adorns common thoughts with the grace of, elocution, and the elegance of style.”
The famous words lingered on the mind of those who were lucky to witness the English Elocution Competition by the Primary Section, on the 25th of July’2019 in the open to sky Area.
The event was divided onto two groups. Group A- Classes I and II and Group 2- classes III to V respectively.
The panel of Judges included the guest Mrs. Suhasini Akshay, Mrs. Poonam Kochitty Principal of the school and Mrs. Shilpi Kumar the HOD English Department.
Some factors adjudged during the competition were Entry and exit of the students on the stage, voice modulation, clarity, expression, dressing sense and Co-Ordination.
All the children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and it was a treat to hear them. The participants were praised by one and all present there.
Before the results were revealed all the judges came forward and spoke to the children praised them and guided them on how they can improve their performance in the upcoming events.
The results were declared by the Headmistress Mrs. Monica Taneja. The results were as follows In Group A -Class II A (Last Night We had Company for Dinner) won the first place. Second position was secured by class II B (My Teacher is a Football Fan) and third by class IA (Learning)respectively. On the other hand, in Group B- Class III B (Pimple Problems) secured first position, second place was bagged by class III A (Shaking Hands) and third place was bagged by class IV B (The Scarecrow) respectively.
The competition ended on a happy note and the discipline of the students was commendable.
