Follow these Last Minute Tips to Score Maximum Marks in CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2023

‘Consistency is what transforms average into excellence’. These wise words encapsulate the need to persevere and be consistent to succeed in any endeavor. They are particularly pertinent for the students preparing for the Class 12 board exam 2023.

The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, is all set to begin the CBSE Board Exam 2023 on February 15, 2023. The datesheets for Class 12 students are available on the official website of the board. With less than a month left, students are now rigorously preparing for the CBSE Board Exam 2023.

A thorough learning regime and revision are basic to any preparation for exams, but there is a lot that students can do to consolidate their preparation and score well in exams. Here are some last-minute important tips for the CBSE Class 12 students:

1. Make it a point to go through the last 10 years papers and sample papers while preparing for the board exams. Students should not solve all the papers at once, but during the initial stage, students should pick up the questions related to the same topic and compile them in one place.

2. The compiled questions for all the chapters should be answered in a planned way.

3. The number of chapters should be equal to the number of days. Hence, each day should be devoted to each chapter. The timer should always be active during the solution of the compiled questions.

4. Always remember, minor planning gives major success. Hence, by keeping the timer active and with a planned way of preparation, one can become an expert at solving questions within a specific time.

5. While segregating the questions topic-wise, also segregate the type of questions, like MCQs, short answer type, very short answer type, and long answer type questions. In this way, success is assured if one maintains consistency in practicing every day.

6. Practicing sample papers is important for understanding the current pattern of question papers and identifying weak areas.

7. Avoid distractions as much as possible. It’s better to take a walk than to watch Netflix in your leisure time.

8. The art of writing answers is very important and this art can only be achieved by consistent practice of writing answers. It’s a good idea to improve the structure of your answers, keep them brief, highlight significant points, and keep the answer paper neat. Maintain clean diagrams for science answers, and utilize flow charts and diagrams whenever possible.

9. In subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Accountancy, we do not simply read the reactions and numerations; instead, write them numerous times to build the flow and improve correctness.

10. Last but not least, do not take your NCERT lightly. It is the Bible for students as the basic preparation material and beneficial for effective preparation.

Ensure to stay calm, positive, optimistic, and confident. Take care of your diet and sleep well. Do add some workouts in your daily schedule. Study hard, practice well and be happy.
