A MEMORABLE TRIP TO DUBAI – 26TH SEPTEMBER TO 1ST OCTOBER’22

A MEMORABLE TRIP TO DUBAI – 26TH SEPTEMBER TO 1ST OCTOBER’22

From last 2 years, I had been wanting to go for a school trip but due to COVID-19 nothing could happen. This year I simply grabbed this opportunity for the school Dubai Trip and had so much fun, learnt many things, made new friends and most of all made some lifelong memories. It was a one-of-a-kind experience with six other students from my school and close to eighty students from the Kanpur school.

Day 1-

We had an old vs new Dubai tour and learned many things about the Arabic culture and their traditions. The tour guide did a fantastic job! We got a glimpse of the conventional Arab houses and also got to know about their lifestyle.

Day 2-

First, we went for a small visit to Al Rawabi factory which manufactures milk, dairy products and even snacks which are 100% sugar free. The care given to the cows was an eye-opener for me. Then from there we moved on to probably best thing that exists in Dubai which is Museum of the future. According to me this was the best one. The technology they have used was mind blowing and all the planning for the future that they have done was really amazing and fascinating to see.

Day 3-

This day was the most enjoyable one. It took almost 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Abu Dhabi. The first place that we all visited was the Grand Mosque. The architecture there was beautiful and it made me remind of the Taj Mahal and the Golden Temple at Amritsar. This place was just out of the world. From there we went to the Ferrari world for which I was very excited because as we all know it has the fastest “Rollercoaster” ride in the world.

Day 4-

After having a really good breakfast in the hotel we all went to the 125th floor of Burj Khalifa. The view from there was mesmerising. We clicked some photos before we ventured to the Dubai Mallfor shopping. I also visited my favourite bookstore in Dubai mall. From there we went for the Desert Safari, enjoyed the spectacular dance performances and enjoyed the desert dinner.

Day 5-

This day we had to wear our school uniforms as we had to visit the Amity University. The university has a huge campus and all the plans, labs and student rooms were extremely good. The people there were also very kind. From there we went to Wild Wadi waterpark and had a great time with friends.

Day 6-

We all went for shopping to City Centre Deira. After shopping we went back to the hotel for a formal goodbye with gifts and high tea by our Trip agent-‘Memories Maker’.

It was all a really memorable experience and unforgettable journey and I want to thank all the teachers, especially Ms.Shilpi Agarwal, Memories Maker and all the other students for making this trip better than I had thought of.A big thankyou to my school SAJS Lucknow for having organised such a wonderful excursion!
