A Magnificent and Colorful World Dance Day Celebrated at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School

‘The job of feet is walking, but their hobby is dancing.’ On this note the primary wing of Seth Anandram Jaipura School joyously commemorated World Dance Day with an electrifying inter house dance competition, adorned with a tapestry of international dance styles. The event was anchored by the talented trio of Ayat Azim, Agastya Agarwal, and Ahana Gupta, while a panel of esteemed judges, including Principal Ma’am, Vice Principal Monika Taneja Ma’am, and Head Mistress Shilpi Kumar Ma’am, lent their discerning eyes to the festivities.

The performances unfurled like a kaleidoscope of cultural expression, beginning with Narmada House’s spirited Afro dance, interwoven with the graceful essence of Bharatnatyam, igniting the stage with their dynamic movements and cultural reverence. Ganga House followed suit, enchanting the audience with the fiery passion of Flamenco from Spain, bedecked in resplendent red costumes, and moving in harmony to the rhythms of “Despacito.”

Krishna House took the audience on a mesmerizing journey, seamlessly blending the rich tapestry of Rajasthani folk dance with the contemporary allure of hip-hop, leaving spectators spellbound with their artistry and flair. Godavari House brought the curtain down on the festivities with an exhilarating fusion of hip-hop, breakdance, and the rhythmic allure of South Indian thalla, displaying boundless energy and unparalleled skill.

Principal Ma’am, in her address, eloquently underscored the importance of facial expression, coordination, synchronization, and body language in the art of dance, applauding the anchors and teachers for their dedication and guidance.

As the crescendo of the event reached its peak, Krishna House emerged triumphant, their artistry and finesse earning them the coveted title of champions, while Narmada, Godavari, and Ganga Houses secured well-deserved runner-up positions, each leaving an indelible mark on the canvas of this vibrant celebration.”
